Focus Statement

J.L. Jones Elementary School is dedicated to having all students show measurable growth in their ability to read with understanding at grade level and beyond as well as follow written and oral directions for every subject.

This focus is implemented school-wide through common, consistent teaching strategies and assessments. Students' growth is measured through the use of DIBELS, district benchmark assessments, and state diagnostic, interim, and summative assessments.
