Our school uses best practices to be successful.  Our best practices are: Whole Brain Teaching, Kagan strategies, Questioning skills, Model Your Thinking, and Vocabulary Building Skills.

Five Classroom Rules using Whole Brain Teaching:

1. Follow Direction Quickly

2. Raise your hand for permission to speak

3. Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat

4. Make smart choices

5. Keep your dear teacher happy

Kagan Strategies are used to work with others effectively and learn information in an organized fashion.

Vocabulary Building: We use the twelve powerful words to help students perform better on test.

Questioning Skills: We ask higher level questions to help our students think and use this knowledge on test.

Model Your Thinking: Breaks down complicated information so that our students master the skills needed to be successful.
